I'm just curious as to whether it would be possible to bolt one in a make it go. It would probably be undrivable but I was just wondering whether it's something to have a go at later in life. That sound! cloud9

Now you're talking ~ MGC in pale primrose with chrome wires and thin white walled tyres ... a nice means of getting about. Bog standard's OK too.

Well ...why not.

I have a C and did wonder myself as to if a TVR would be a reasonable transplant, I have spent a small fortune on my c , 6k last time on engine and a few suspension mods. its noise is great just as good as the Cerb. and revs to 7000+

If I have the spare time I might consider trying a fit one in a C , the Gearbox a t5 may need the body work in the bay and tunnel modified the rest should be ok height wise as its dry sump will allow it to sit low.

400hp in a C/B nice

TVR Speed Six - wonderful performance but with the problems its known to have - why that engine?

How long is the engine? Will it hit the front crossmember? Is is a B or C conversion? I know that it is possible by cutting the bulkhead to easily move a C engine back about 110mm, so this might be a route you need to take to get it to fit. Beyond that you are into major modification.

I would love to see it done.

I've seen a 1JZ Toyota engine in an MGB, that would be good & inexpensive too (plus it won't break)

They are for sale too, it's a new clutch as well.
