Hi..decided to dump the original stereo as the CD skips over every little bump and no MP3 either.

So just bought a Sony Head Unit and the question is Do I need any conversion cables here?? Thnx

The speaker and power leads should just plug straight in as the TF has ISO connectors.

I swapped from a Kenwood to an Alpine and didn't need any adaptors, but you may need an adaptor for the aerial depending on if the connection on the new HU is the same type as the old HU.

Top tip is to pull out the air vent above the radio. This will then give you a better view and increased access to the rear of the stereo.

This was actually easier than I thought. The nice thing with Sony is that they include the adaptor connector for the aerial, so no extra cost. There was no need to remove the airvents here. I unscrewed the old MG Head Unit..was a bit stiff on its way out...then did the cables, two plug-ins 1) ISO Blocks and 2) Aerial...I will run an Aux-In Cable later so it goes out of the back of the unit and then tuck it through to connect up my MP3 player, so it looks a bit smarter than a front end connection. Now got a decent quality head unit and that original piece of Sh** stereo can go on ebay - originality for Audio Equipment doesn't bother me at all.
