Servicing is every 12k/1 year.

The website below is probably the best source of information:

http://forums.xpowerforums.com/

Search for clutch hydraulics, VIS valves/inlet manifold. These are the first two possible problems that spring to mind.

Car has to be at least four years old ~ so, as with any used car, insist on a good demonstration drive ~ at least 20 miles and that will give you a chance to assess the car and it will be long enough to see if you like it. After the drive, lift the bonnet and check things paying attention to levels and look for signs of a well cared for car.

Check for the obvious as you should for any used car. Those things mentioned previously have affected some cars. Clutch hydraulics: should this ever need attention, there's a superb mod for about £150 from some clever devil on XPowerForums which replaces and transforms the OE hydraulic clutch ~ should one ever need this ~ not all do.

Find yourself a nice one like this one appears to be and I'll be surprised if you are not delighted with it. For a number of reasons, they are superb value now.

Finally, if you know someone who owns one or knows them well, take them along. Two pairs of eyes and ears are always better than one.

Good luck.
