Hi All,

I have a 1966 MGB Roadster in storage and needs a good home. I used it up until about 15 years ago (well looked after: engine rebuild with big valve head and webber carb, gearbox rebuild, respray, ali bonnet, welding, new wire wheels, s/s exhaust etc,) but it got to the stage where full sills and front wings off was required.

Job was started, and many new parts bought front wings, doors (heritage not pattern) and some of the welding started, but got busier with new job and it was left. It has always been dry stored over the time, and periodically moved about to stop seizures. Engine runs but a valve is a little sticky, and clutch is stuck.

Anyway I am under pressure to free up the space, so the time has come to pass it onto a new home, who will bring her back to her former glory.

If you are interested drop me a PM, and we can discuss further. I would prefer to pass it to a party who can demonstrate they will perform a quality restoration.
Car will need to be trailered from Hertfordshire and can supply some pics in advance if required.

Mike

Hi;

PM sent smile

We are not too far away either!

I have just been saying to Mrs K that I'd love to restore a roadster for us both, would be lovely to have both my GT and a roadster smile

I have just built a nice side extension to the garage to house the almost completed MGB GT so the garage now has space too smile

Dam I would have got some student to do the welding as part of their course and give you the car back when it was done.

I live near the College of West Anglia and some of the students there did my old Mini for me. Try the colleges near you to see if they can do it.
