Cam belt is due to be changed this December, the old girl has only done 32000 miles but the 6 years is up, just wondering what sort of price I should be expecting to pay?

Cheers

Main dealers have been known to charge north of £1k, but I read (can't remember where) some indys can do it for 600 ish. It is a big job.

Lates up birmingam way www.lates600.com do them for about £500, or any other mg specialist, my zs180's was around £500 from an indy iirc

Another vote for Lates here. Did my 90k (cambelt ) service for half the price I was quoted elsewhere. Bloody good job they did too, useing all proper MGR parts (I saw them open the boxes!)

I had mine done at the MGOC workshop near Cambridge. It is an impressive facility and they deal with lots of modern MGs, not just the classics. Exceptional service and very knowledgeable guys. I had a few other small jobs done at the same time and it was about £600, so not the cheapest but much less than a dealer. They also lent me a ZR courtesy car.

You don't need to be an MGOC member (I'm not). The workshop manager runs a ZT too.

Get the number from here http://www.mgownersclub.co.uk/workshop.html
