i don`t seem to have much luck with electronic ignition, i have a 12v ignition feed to the coil but no spark.can any one tell me if the earthing link should be fitted.im not sure what the two black and white cables actualy do , they are connected to the - side of the coil, the two green and white wires are not used as these come from the starter motor for a easy start when using a 6 v ballast feed and 6v coil .my car as been stored since last year , it ran for a while but started to miss fire when hot . my car is a 1980 with a 45d aldon re curved dizzy thanks

The Americans have a saying......
"Why do they drink warm beer in England? Because Lucas wire their fridges".

Wire the coil straight to a live circuit (via fuse box) and earth, if you still don't get a spark give the dizzy a good clean. Replace the coil (if you have a spare kicking about) just chase the basics.
