mgf trophy ?

Hi i have just bought a mgf trophy it registered march 2000 so is it really a trophy model its got the right spoilers and wheels and its a 1.8?

Launched May, 2001 - named as the Trophy 160 because the re-tuning of the engine resulted in its VVC engine producing 160 PS (158 bhp). Possibly the most exciting and most comprehensively re-worked MGF special edition. Lowered and stiffer suspension, 'MG' branded red coloured 4 pot brake callipers acting on big AP front brake discs, a front splitter and rear deck spoiler and the VVC engine with a reworked inelt, 52mm throttle body etc. Other features include the colours of Trophy Yellow, Trophy Blue, Solar Red and Anthracite, a particular style of 16" wheels and re-styled front head lamps. The interior had body coloured centre console and door trim inserts, plus coloured high-lights on the seats. Thats for starters.....and they only made 500

It does not have the vvt engine or brakes so it is not a trophy but its got all the extrior and interior bits does anyone know where i can get the 60mm trophy wheel center caps from thanks.I have been changing the head gasket today and its not as much fun as i thought it would be.

While the initial production run of Trophys was 500 cars, in all there were a total of 1430 Trophy's built. In fact the total could be higher because at least one car was built as a Trophy but never registered as such. The MGCC MGF Register has records of 796 cars being registered in the UK.

wheel centres are like hens teeth! I waited for some to appear on e-bay and paid £10 each! That was after i bought some normal ones that didnt fit...
