MG Midget Sill Paint

On my 1500 midget sills, below the chrome beading, the paint has a satin type finish in black. This needs refreshing, what paint is best suited for this job ?

I did mine with a can of Satin Black spray paint I picked-up from my local motor factors, any satin Spray paint from Halfrauds et al should be ok.
