in search of LTG697

Hi

Just wondered if anyone on here knows the whereabouts of an MG TD, reg LTG697. A friends father is 70 soon, he owned this car in 1960 and would like to see it again. Nothing sinister, just a trip down memory lane.

If anyone does know about this car I would be really grateful for any info.

Go to the link to the DVLA vehicle enquiry site http://www.taxdisc.direct.gov.uk/EvlPortalApp/inde... which when you type in the registration number and MG as the make, tells you that the registration is still allocated to an MG, manufactured in 1952, and that it appears to be alive and well, as it is next due for road tax renewal in July 2009:

For a T Series MG, the most likely source of further help is from the T Series Register of the MG Car Club

They should be able to tell you whether the car is known to them, and may be able to put you in touch with the owner by forwarding a letter on to him/her. Failing that, they should be able to advise on which publications, such as the MG Car Club magazine and the like would be best to put an appeal in for any information.
