PLEASE CAN SOMEBODY HELP?????

I have just bought my favourite car and I have just noticed in the ashtray a diagnostic receipt with fault codes and I dont have a clue what they mean,
On the drive back it would not rev above 5,800rpm, but I know the vvc engine will rev to 7,200rpm.
I have checked the black, brown and blue plugs on the VVC mech housing and they seem to be correct. I am gutted as I love the car but I now have no idea what I have got myself into, if this is nothing major then i would like to fix it and keep the car,

The fault code receipt reads as follows

Total codes:002
code001 - 1520 This fault not appliable
this vehicle-oil gallery
temperature sensor-
circuit fault
code002 - 1522 (81,80,15,22), please
refer to relevant
technical manual

Someone advised that I check the oil temp sensor but it does not seem to be there, is this something to do with the problem??

Has anyone seen this before or know of the problems??

The VVC should sing past 5800 so it's obviously not happy frown. I'm not familiar with your specific problem but hopefully it's just a loose connection or similar.

Any more clues? What's the service history/mileage?

The condition of the whole car is good, It has 34,000 miles on the clock and service history is a bit limited to be honest but over all the car looks genuine, ie interior has no wear, again is in good condition.

If you're not confident about it's service history then a thorough service would be a good start! A good independent garage will give you change from £200. Hopefully, your problem will be a simple as a failing spark plug.
