mg zs 2001 dash light change colour from orange to blue.

Hi all i have a 2001 mg zs and was wondering how to get my dash to light up blue instead of orange. I have took one of the original bulbs out (petrol gauge side nd right side of speedo) and took the orange cover off. After this i then painted one blue then screwed it back into place. I took the other two main bulbs out (left side of speedo, rev counter and temp gauge) then turned lights on. Their was a light blue glow but their was still orange on the dial details. Is their any more bulbs i need to take out or anything else i need to do. Many thanks in advance.

It's probably that there is a length of translucent plastic that conducts the light from the bulb and that will be tinted orange so no matter what colour bulb is under it it won't make a huge difference.
