Depends what you want really. I would advise speaking to RPI engineering. If you want a ropey old engine then get one off ebay, it will be very cheap and you might fall lucky and get a good one. But most are scrap or on the way to being.
At the other end of the scale you could buy a coscast new engine which will cost you big money but give you a genuine increase in performance and reliability.
I suspect somewhere in the middle lies the sensible route of rebuilding yours properly.
