head gasket failure

Hi Chaps,


Head gasket has just gone on my mg zr (common problem i hear). I have had a garage look at it and they say it is just the head gasket. How much should i be looking at to get this fixed including the head gasket kit which i am told includes water pump etc?

Fingers cross it's not going to financially cripple me!

£293 is what I paid my local all makes garage in Wisbech.

im, I like the blower, hope to get one of those myself sometime...
