Hi everyone,
I have a ZR 105. After painting my front calipers a lovely yellow over the weekend I kind of wish I had the rear ones too instead of the ugly brake drums! Can anyone advise me on how easy it would be to get some on my car and what a realistic price would be?

Thanks guys!

You have to ask yourself why you need them, there's no argument they look better, and they are certainly better for prolonged high speed braking than drums, but your handbrake won't be as good and for general driving drums are perfectly adequate. If it's just for looks then tbh the job isn't worth doing in terms of money and time, you would need at least the rear trailing arms at a guess off a disc brake equipped 200/zr and then someone has to fit them, it would probably be far easier to swap an entire beam across tbh. At a guess and that's all it is, £200 for the beam which isn't daft money, but then at least 6 hours to do the swap assuming nothing is seized. Plus it makes sense to renew brake pipes and the handbrake cables will be different. not a cheap job.

You can get fake disks for the rear to cover the disks, but to be honest they will bring ridicule from all but 16 yr old scooter riders. Very much for the all show no go brigade, get a bit of money spent on tuning the car and become a proper girl racerwink
