MGF Head casket

hi all
how can i tell if my head casket is on the way out.....i over heated about 3 weeks ago but nothing since????

have you lost any coolant?

under what circs did you overheat?
If it was in traffic, maybe the fan was not cutting in?

If your not losing oil or water, not down on power and the oil and water aren't mixing then I wouldn't worry. The K series has a bad reputation for blowing gaskets but it isn't all that bad, it's a good little engine.
