A friend has one of the above and when we were out in it last weekend said the (plastic) bonnet badge looked almost tarnished. Does it just pull off or is it fixed inside and is there a source of decent badges that stay looking OK for longer?? Any advice appreciated.

TF badges have a habit of delaminating, when the plastic cover on the front peels off.
I replaced mine with much better quality metal/resin badges bought off ebay from 'shorter12'

Something to be carefull of is that TF badges are not the same as those used on the rest of the MG range, either in size or shape.

Thanks Steve - does the badge just pull off or is it fastened in somehow?

The badges are stuck on with doudle sided sticky pads and also have 2 pins on the rear to locate them onto the body.
To get them off, use a bit of string or dental floss to cut through the sticky pad on the back.
