Guys

I have been struggling with an intermittant ignition problem with the car (sympathetic renovation after 12 yr lay up) When it was running I noted that the coil was very hot i.e. too hot to touch yikes Then the car refused to start so I disconnected the coil to test another known working one and then forgot the connection scratchchin

So the three wires going to iether the + or - connections on the coil are:

White
White with dark stripe
Condensor

Thanks

Chris

You may find this a useful link? http://chicagolandmgclub.com/techtips/general/574.... seems to explain it quite succinctly

Good luck

Many thanks all got the car running albeit rough running way too rich at the moment so further fiddling needed at the card end I guess!
