Hi All,

Father in law has a x reg MGF. He has had the steering pulling to the left for sometime and too kthe car to the dealer in Swindon.
they charged £235 for a new steering rack, but the problem is still there.

I researched the problem and found the EPAS problem.

Can anyone recomend a garage in/near Swindon (Wilts) that could fix the issue?

I'm probably stating the obvious here but I assume he's already had the wheel alignment checked as this can cause all sorts of nasty problems.driving I've heard that STS in Eldene, Swindon are pretty good but I've not had any first hand experience of them myself.

Thanks for the reply. Yep, we checked the alignment/tracking. We have proven that it is a EPAS fault.....

In the short term you can just pull the big fuse in the front bonnet to switch off the EPAS. Rob's site linked above has been quite successful in curing this little oddity.
