Emissions band for an MGF/TF VVC 1.8

Hi chaps/chapesses.

I was just wondering, would any of you lot know if the MGF/TF will be affected by Dr Evils ( AKA Alistair Darling )higher rate of road tax that is being phased in for 2009, 2010?

Obviously I'm referring to the post 2001 cars
