mg zr 2.0 litre turbo conversion

I am converting my mg zr to a two litre turbo (t series engine ) but am struggling on wot i need to convert as in gear selects etc . i have got my engine mounts sorted out but am struggling with everything else and would really appreciate any help that can be given to me or if any one would point me in the right direction . cheers .
it's been a long time since I played with these, I believe the 220 gsi turbo (probably the 400 , 600 and 800 turbos as well) and the coupe turbo had the same Honda derived gearbox that was used in the Montego but with an LSD, the speed o drive was different to the monty, apart from that every thing else was a straight swap, I'm guessing the later cars used the same set up too. We used the crown wheel and pinion from a diesel(non turbo) van gearbox for the taller final drive to give us a higher top speed/lower rpm to give some semblance of economy!!
I'm considering something similar for the girlfriends daily driver, so I shall be picking the bones out of this thread! Plan is to buy another rover 200 shell (bubble) and make up to look like a totally standard zr new shape (she's been pestering for a new ZR. She can whistle!) That said finding a half decent shell is proving tricky!
