electrical fault

on a track day nice and dry
in the straight all fine and dandy

however three times the car stopped coming out of a bend no power atall
however i did still have lights ?
it was suggested a faulty ignition barrel may be the cause
i tend to go with this as a few days b4 i had oiled it as it was a bit stiff
and i think i may have buggered it up by doing it
however any other ideas ?

The same bend every time?

A flyer: the one bend that was a different direction to the other bends on the circuit?

If I am right, then fuel starvation is your culprit.
