I've got a BGT shell, it has had a massive amount of work done, all the front end has been restored, it is perfect, the sills and floors are perfect, needs work on boot floor, and ideally rear wings. Would suit a sebring project.

The only other problem is it had a webasto which I have removed to sell as they sell for about £100.

Anyone who wants to come and fetch the shell can have it for a tenner, which is to cover my fuel to come and meet you at pocklington, bearing in mind I'd probably get £30 for it scrap value.

If you want it rolling with good rear axle, nearly new springs, good front suspension/steering etc. so basically drop an engine in and go you can have it for £80. (probably worth it just to make it easier to get on trailer. I will even throw in an interior, probably a pair of doors, a bonnet and bootlid. plus a load of other stuff to finish it. Even wheels!!!! This shell had a fortune spent, I suspect all the suspension and brakes are new, restore it / break it / use it I don't care just get it out of my way lol!

Stephen the stuff that was going to scrap has now gone as I said in your email. However I'll still give you an axle because I'm nice like that, but most of the free stuff was axles, crossmembers and rubber bumpers. I.E. unsellable stuff that sometimes people may need one.

As to the other parts you want I'm happy to supply them, at a sensible and frankly very cheap price as I'm trying to make more room, the doors are included in this, however this business puts food on my table and without making some money from it at least I don't eat, so please don't expect me to give you good sellable items like doors/fuel pumps/windscreens for free.

Anyone who knows me knows I'm easy going and a nice guy to deal with, but the fact is that while I will always help people out (last week a guy left with 2 midget front suspensions, 5 rear lights, 2 complete headlight units and 2 steering racks for £50) I have to make some money.

no thats fair enough as I've said before and I am only to happy to pay your costs as you see fit.

Think this was perhaps crossed wires somewhere.

No thats fine mate, I had a bit of a prob a while ago with a chap with a midget that I gave a load of spares too for free, he seemed to think I was a permanent free parts dispenser that's all.

Let me know when you want to come up and we'll have a good chin wag and a cup of tea.

certainly I will, shooting the breeze about MG's is fine by me. if you can hang on to those bits for another few weeks 3/4 at outside then we'll catch up then...i'll even take you for a pub tea cos I'm also nice like that.

btw i was reading a mini magazine last night and found that you can get hex bolts to fix your rear number plate on which have LED's inside them to illuminate the plate...so fantastic but I can't find a supplier...would but a nice touch to keeping the rear of my car lines smooth!

Sounds fine Stephen, theres a good pub up the road, sure we'll sort something out, the number plate light bolts are ok, but do look a tiny bit max power IMO, The early number plate lights are much smoother, I used one on one of my midgets.

Perhaps your right there, just seemed a nifty way of keeping the clutter on the back of the car down...have you come up with any other ways of putting rear fogs on the back- other than the old drop them from the rear valance...i think that looks untidy to. I'd hoped to stick a dirty big reverse lamp onto the back and use the other rverse light hole as my fog but i can't find a nifty unit to put in there. need to sort this asap as I have a welder coming to sort the car out and i could do with having these things sorted out first!
