On a one owner from new 1969 MGB GT (not V8)- sorry I'm no MG expert so think this is accurate - in blue with full documentation. Milage is around 40K. Car has original wire wheels and just been put through MOT.

Condition is very, very good with one tiny spot of rust under one headlamp. All totally original and unrestored.

I think an old lady has been totally conned and just want it confirmed.

Thanks

Bit difficult to say without actually looking at the car but I would think about £3500 to £5000 depending on condition.

pretty much agree with that, without looking at the car though, it could be worth anything between 3 and 8 grand.

Thanks guys

She got just over £3k for it.

I'm guessing that the buyer's rush to buy and the fact he flew 350 miles means it was worth a good deal more.

Most likely - an original, one owner, low mileage car in reallly good condition will attract a considerable premium.
