Hi,

I'm trying to find out what the differential is in an MGC. Searches on the web indicate it's a Salisbury.

I want to know if there are any taller ratio crown wheel and pinion sets I can use ??

The standard ratio seems to be 3.07 .. I want to fit something like a 2.88 (both are readily available Jag Salisbury ratios ...)

Any help much appreciated ...

Chris

The standard ratio is 3.07, but the later cars were something like 3.307? Not too sure on whether it's the salisbury though, best give Doug a ring at MGMotorsport 01442 832019, he's the man in the know for these things.

Why an even lower ratio (if I might ask)?
I have a 3.07 on the V8 (and a 3.9 on the 'B) and while it is great, I would not want a lower one to be honest.
