ZT-T buying advice
Discussion
hey guys, ive been looking at a Mk2 ZT-T cdti 135+ to replace my Mk2 ZS 180 with. the main reasons behind this are the fact that soon i am going to have to commute 70 miles a day and we've recently got a dog so it would be nice for him to be in the back away from the leather!
anyway, the car i test drove yesterday was a 54 plate in dark blue (Royal Blue?) with 15651 miles on it for £9995. i came away really impressed from the drive although its obviously lacking the grin factor of the 180. the garage are offering me £5025 for the ZS and the rest payable over 2 years at 6% (£238.70 a month).
do you guys rekon this is a good deal? any advice on these cars would be very appreciated. also, whats available in terms of mods for these cars?

Hi Paul,
I don't know much about the diesel models I'm afraid, as whilst they look like mine (a 260) on the surface, they are pretty much a completely different car underneath. I do know, however, that a large number of owners have gone for a chipping solution from someone who goes by the name of "Rover Ron" and are extremely pleased with the results.
The best suggestion I could make is to pop along to The Rover 75 & MG ZT Owners' Club forum and ask the same question there. You will drown under the weight of answers you get there!
