My mate has a MG ZR 2004 mark 2, and after all of the rain he's experienced water ingress and a knackered ECU - he's been quoted £600 to replace for a brand new one by the local auto electrician because you have to buy a new one.

This can't be right can it? Surely you can get a second hand one and reprogram it? Anybody know anything about these machines?

Cheers
