Hi

Does anyone have any recommendations for tyres for the ZR??

Currently it's on Continental Sport Contact 2s, 205/45/17.

I'm happy with them, car always feels planted and I got almost 14k ( I think ) out this current set. Best quote I can find online though is £120 ish a tyre which is a bit pricey! I've tried Pirelli P-Zero in the past and they were ok as well, but just as pricey?

What do the ZR guys on here use, and do you pay £120 a wheel!

My sisters ZR is running on 17" Cooper 2XS's (around £70 per pair) and I can tell you that after 5k they are excellent and feel just as grippy as the original Contis.

yikes

That's more than I pay for the 245/40/18s or 225/45/18s I've put on my ZT-T 260!!!

If you like the Contis, then www.mytyres.co.uk have them in your size at £88.50 each. You'll need to pay to get them fitted, but that should only cost you a tenner a wheel.

That was the second site I looked at, so you might well find them cheaper elsewhere! smile

I got recommended this on MSN as well by another PH'er!

I'm going to give them a go and see how it turns out!
