Hello

At normal ride height I am after the distance between the back of the rear wheelbearings/drive flanges.
Annoyingly I had all the parts here to do this measurement but it looked like I was not going to use MGF parts, now due to drive shaft problems I am, so need this measurement, I have a manual but nothing like this in there.

I wondered whether anyone has stripped down a MGTF/MGF fuel tank. I have removed the pump, gauge sender unit. But now want to remove the white plastic ring round the edge of the hole that provides the thread to hold the tank sender unit down.

I need to do this to replicate the fixing for some new ally tanks we are having made as we are modding the original sender etc.
Tried levering it about but I know its going to go bang and dissapear in a pile of bits.

Thanks

Joe

Ok plastic ring on tank sorted its on another thread, so not sure what thats all about maybe the units used on other rovers.

But still need the distance between the drive shaft side back face of the rear wheel bearings on an MGF or TF, at normal ride height.

Its a project I am working on

Thanks,
