TF Not starting

My TF spluttered and died at first i thought it was fuel but now i've put two gallon in it still wont start. I've checked the fuses to pump and ECU and all are ok. any ideas?

Does the pump prime when you turn the ign. on?Does the engine turn over?

engine turns fine but no pump, i'm looking for the relay at the moment

I think it's just a fuse,not a relay.
Have a look here and scroll down to "fuel pump fault" in the left frame.It may help.

I've had the pump out to find out which wires go to the gauge and pump and found that when i turn the ignition on i'm getting 11.7ish volts for a couple of seconds and then nothing when cranking the engine about 10volts on the pump the gauge is 6V constantly. I've conected a battery to the pump and no life so i'm thinking it the pump which is made by BMW btw

I did it was the fuel pump i'm now looking for a new car i love the MG so much but it has really put the frightners up me the last few weeks. It seems that it ran low on fuel which killed the first pump, i know you shouldn't run low on fuel but i compared to the usuall fuel use i should have had plenty that shouldnt kill a pump.

The hard thing is i drove a 2.0i Hyundai coupe and it was nice but a snail compared the MG i'm going to try a Seat ibiza cupra to see how that goes.
