MG ZT-T 1.8T Estate- good buy??

My mum is looking to buy one, and is wondering if it would be a wise decision to buy it. Is it a good car?? Are there any major faults??? Please tell. Help is much appreciated.

I've got the 2.5V6 version (190) Its really great. Don't know much about the 1.8s though - HGF?

I have heard that they are a little under powered for what is a heavy car.

Get a CDTI and chip it or a 190.

Bit gutless, and rather prone to HGF. Get a 2.5 v6 for the same power but more reliability, or go for the diesel.
