I need new wheels and tyres for my road/sprint/hillclimb Midget. The tyres have to be on the MSA List 1A, and the regs ban anything bigger than a 6x13in wheel. Tyres available in likely sizes seem to be:

Firestone F590FS
Kumho 758 Power Star
Fulda Carat Linero
Pirelli P3000/Energy
Kleber Viaxer
Pirelli P2500Euro
Yoko S306
Goodyear GT3
Dunlop SP30
Falken SN828
Toyo 600F5
Avon CR322
Michelin Energy
Yokohama A539

Anyone have any experience of any of these, or any recommendations?

Have you tried the MG speed championship board - I'm afraid I run B list tyres. If you're in the championship - see you next year

i raced a midget/sprite in the road going class we used bridgestone RE720, seemed quite good but are no longer available. last year in the healey championship i used 175 60 13 A539 shaved down to 4mm as dry tryes but ran them at mallory in a torrential down poor and put it fourth on the grid in the donald healey memorial sprite race. also use these on my mazda mx5 track day toy and they are good. try george polley or adams and page who will be cheapest for yoko tyres

Avoid Michelin Energy like the plague. They don't grip. They're not designed for going round corners.

I've had bridgestones, continentals and goodyears fitted on my B with good results. I really like continentals on the front.

I ran Firestone F590 Fuel Savers when I sprinted my Midget. Absolute garbage. They were cheap, hence I bought them. Was a poor decision and lesson learnt.
