hello ladies and gents, Im on the look out for a white 1974 MGB GT with the reg. SAL 33N if anyone knows of this vehicle or the where abouts or who owns it etc I would be most gratefull as i am looking to purchase the number plate from it if the owner is willing to sell!

Try the MG Owners Club and Car Club. Most classic MG owners belong to it. If it's got a round red sticker in the rear screen, it'll be an owners' club member.

I posted on the MG owners club ages ago and heard nothing, I haven't seen the car about, i'm tr4ying to trace it as i want to buy the number plate if the owner will sell as I own a Saleen Mustang

Try actually writing to the MGOC magazine. Most MG owners are in their fifties or sixties and haven't got home computers, discovered the net or chat sites / message boards.

And before you all give me hate mail, I'm only 35 and had my MG 9 years...

SAL 73R is currently for sale at £13,995.

SAL 33N is far more desirable especially for a Saleen Mustang and is worth much more!
