Hi,
The motor and regulator has given up the will to live on my 2003 MG TF there's a company on E-bay selling a pattern part complete - motor and regulator mechanism for £110 plus postage - any one got any experience with these or should I go for original parts at over twice the price ??
cheers
Steve

cheers mate - may need to know if the other side goes - it's already struggling but may be just the guides need lubing up.
I was quoted £250 from Rovers - paid £125 inc. delivery from B.T.U on e-bay for a new assembly - turned out to be a good part.
Thanks

Quite often spurious parts are as good as original, often they are the same part in a diferent box even!

what was that make? electric life? these are very good OE replacements I've fitted a few of their conversion kits and they go straight in with no messing about

Mine was electric life, seems ok but it took some fitting and i found the window isn't as stable as the OE one. I've kept the old frame and will get the motor when i see one going
