Hi Bexter,

From memory (I have the Owners Guide somewhere but can't be bothered to look for it), I think that if the car locks ok, but the indicator lights do not flash, it means that either one of the doors, the boot or bonnet is not shut properly.

Also if you try the old, dead-locking the car with the hood down and then waving your hand around inside only to find that the alarm doesn't go off, it's probably due to the fact that the alarm takes a minute or two to become sensitive enough to set detect inside movement.

Best of luck, I hope that's of some help. Have fun with the F!

thanx for that, i read in the book about the lights not flashing if a door or something was open, so had a good look at the car, and discovered that the light was missing from the boot, (have one on order to pick up tomoro) im wondering if because the light isnt there the alarm system thinks that the boot is always open??

any ideas??
