ZT reversing sensors

Got a small problem with MY ZT-T reversing sensors. --- I am getting the long beep error sound when I select reverse. Reversing lights working fine. I've listened to all 4 sensors and they are all making the healthy clicking sound that they are supposed to make. I've checked the big multiway plug under the bumper and that is clean and dry.
Anyone know what I should check next?

Assuming no Dirt/Polish/Wax on the surface of the sensors?

Oddly enough my Father found that his reversing sensors don't seem to work on his ZT-T when he is playing Led Zep at level 24...
