Hello every1, stumbled across this site whilest looking up how to get trade plates.....bit random but there you go!
My name is Ami(incase you couldnt work that one out) I'm 23 and I deal in MGF's for fun. My dad has worked with MG's all his life, midgets, mgb roadsters and gt's. He used to restore then for a hobby but now he has grandchildren he'd rather spend his spare time with them (bless) so the MG enthusiasm has been passed on to me
I've got 2 MGFs myself and absolutely love them (I also have a roadster that needs restoring if I ever get chance)!!! they are my life after my daughter of course
So anyway don't want to bore anyone that has taken the time to read this message......Just wanted to say hello so....... "Hello!"

Hello Ami!
I've got a '74 Mg Midget which I've restored, I would like an F one day when finances allow. I spend most of my time over at www.mgcars.org it's a great website for technical help.

Nice one! could do with some help actually my VVC is knocking, sounds like a tractor at the mo I've flushed the engine but its not helped! I sold my midget bout a month ago, it was bright yellow nice car but expensive to run, not the the F is any better but at least i have power steering and air con
I was reading classic and sports car magazine, last month I think it was and they were saying that F's are the classic to watch out for now and that they had never been so cheap but are going to go up in value alot soon, can't really see it my-self.... and oh my god I even type like i'm drunk! better go to bed before i pass out on my keyboard xXx

Yeah i was thinking the same!
Well I said "Hello" on a different thread!! Ok, gonna sound silly but i don't know what threads are I need help!
Threads, pet, are what these are - the different topics within a forum...
I've got a primrose yellow B tuned up for fast road, but was thinking about changing it for an F VVC just to get a car I don't have to worry about using in the winter. Tried one, but don't like the upright driving position.
Don't know if you've seen my pic but I ve got a TF lookalike and an F. The seats in my TF are much lower than in my 96 F and to be honest I think the old seats are better! I personally dont like either of them in the winter, back end is WAY to wild.
