hello, does anyone know how the radiator is fastened to the body when a fibreglass front is fitted to midgets. Any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks

you use the standard mounts?

i dont think that you can because the radiator cowling that you would have used fastens onto the front part and the slam panel of the body. I am sure that i have seen race cars with specially made metal mounts for the flip fronted cars.

i just use the std mount positions with the steel cowl, although most people will have changed this to a better design alloy one to improve air flow through the rad. but the std four bolt mount works fine

when you take the nose cone off the rad mounts are still there on the front legs.

Big pieces of metal sticking up in the air!
