MG TF window regulator

My window regulator the motor is fine but the gearbox as gone. Does anyone know where you can get the motors for a sensible price and is the window system easy to put back together and line up ok? cheers all

If you can, replace the whole assy - straight forward. I'm pretty sure there is a guy selling on ebay.

Got a new one for £110 which aint too bad, i've got it fitted now but i'm having trouble getting the window adjusted correctly ie its sitting too high and i can't close the door with it up help

Loosen the stoppers allowing window to move for adjustment; shut the door and manoeuvre
into desired position.. Enter car from other side and tighten the stoppers.

Bingo.

Window in correct postion.

I've done that but something doesn't seem right the window seems to rock a little before it does not and it made a funny noise the last time i did it it should be a simple job but there seems to be something about it at the moment grrr the regulator it not an oe one so that could make some diffrence
