I have taken advantage of the riecent price crash on 2nd hand MG's and am 90% delighted but have reservations about the steering issues.
The steering on my car is rediculously light. this is great in towns but at high speed its almost too light and as a result the car is twitchy and emergency braking at high speeds means that the slightest braking inbalance pulls the steering all over the shop.
Does anyone else have this problem or is it just my car. was thinking of using a heavier oil in the power steering. will this work, how do i do it. please help as i have soiled my pants too often and cant enjoy the power without giving myself heart failure!
