What have you got.

1979 Midget 1500 in Pageant Blue, black interior (original brown).
1971 Midget in some dodgy resprayed non-standard red, no interior.
How many colours are there? Loads!
You do know there were MGs before the 'F' don't you?
Cheers, Phil

The missus has a P reg but private plated F in the purple colour (amaranth). 21k on the clock.
Got a hardtop on the cheap last year in white which I had resprayed to match. Looks the dogs.
Will post a pic on here of her F and my Chim when I get a minute and have them to hand ...
If we're talking any MG I had a harvest gold MGB reg YAW 20K which I rebuilt in 1984
But you wouldn't want to see pics of that would you?
Edited to say first visit to the MG forum. Used to live in Abingdon and was there in 1981 when the factory was closed. Sad day for the town.

It was a tongue in cheek post, honest
But sometimes you gotta wonder about *some* MGF owners.
The only time I went to a local MGOC meet, most of the previously MG owning members had 'moved on' to TVRs...
Similar levels of reliability but a hell of a lot less rust I guess?
Anyway my family is deserting... I am looking to sell at least one Midget, probably to buy a mates MR2 Turbo, and my parents have just bough an MX5.
Cheers, Phil

I have a 1952 MGTD.
I inherited from my Dad who bought it when he was 17 (in a box of bits)
He spent 2000 hours and about 30k restoring it to concours condition.
I don't use it much as I don't want it rusting and it only does 70mph (down hills).
It is a very rare original colour - an almost metallic gold colour - which for 1952 is saying a lot.

I owned 1972 B GT ,top spec webasto, sundym windows, chrome ro-styles, bought it in 1975 ran it untill 1987, as my only car, had the engin re-conned in about 1980, respray and some new panels in 1985,Sadly it remained in my garage as a ' project ' untill last year when she was unceremoniously dragged from the garage and removed on a low loader by an MG specialist who promises me she will run again ! so if you ever see a Glacier white BGT, reg GRO 5L give her a wave, The space in the garage is now occupied by my TVR S3, giving me lots of fun again only a lot faster !!!

I have had 2 MGB roadsters and a BGT over the years. The BGT was the original long term test car for the the Motor Magazine. It was totally rebuild by John Day in Bedford and was in Concours condition. I also had an MGF VVC when they first come out, and in 98 I sold both the MGF and BGT, and brought a New TVR Griff 500. WOW!! am now awaiting the delivery of a new T350t later in the year.
However, I haven't cut my links with MG, as I have an MG ZT 190+ as my everyday car. It is superb, and quite honestly is a much better package than the BM's etc that the press seem to rave about.
