Hi All,

Been around Pistonheads for a far while, but first time on this forum

My Ultima will need to find a new home soon so need to start hunting around for a replacement.
Always had a soft spot for old sports cars Ideally I would like an MGA, MGB roadster or an MGB GT (in that order!) Any tips on what to watch out for?

Cheers

Gary

Hi Gary,

£5k is a reasonable budget, personally I would advise knocking the A on the head as for £5k you will be lucky to get even a ropey one, really thats restoration car money.

Bgt you would get a smashing example for either down the original road or down the modified V8/Sebring route.

Roadster again its a tight budget but you should get one for that region, We have a 78 Californian import that will be coming up to completion soon, still available to specify colour/interior options etc!

We are a family run business with over 60 years of collective experience, run by a father and son team, specialising in classic British and German sports cars but the mainstay has always been and will always be Mg's.

We also currently have 2 1977 Midgets approaching completion.

Ask to speak to Oliver Wild, and the mobile No. is usually the best.

Cheers for that Wildoliver I shall bear that in mind, although Yorkshire might be a bit far to travel!

I think I will put this topic up on GG nearer the time. Doesn't seem to be a lot of activity on this forum

No problems whatsoever, and if you'd like to chat please don't hesitate to call anyway, we do deliver cars all over the country anyway.
