Thinking Of Buying MGA

I have just sold my MGB roadster and I am thinking of replacing it with an MGA-

Is the steering as heavy on the A? (Recently broke both my arms)
Will I notice the decrease in power?
Is it worth getting an A with an MGB engine/gearbox? (will this devalue the car)?
English car or USA import?
Anyone got a nice one for sale?

Join the MGOC and log on to their members' website. There are excellent model-specific forums on there with loads of help and advice. Be warned, though - you will need to spend at least £10,000 on one and you can still end up with a 'dog'. Have you thought about a 'C' or a 'B' V8?
