source for clutch
Discussion
hi,
the clutch on my good ladys mgf trophy vvc is getting to the end of it`s time, been looking around ebay etc...... for a replacement 3 part clutch, but there seems not to be a lot there (as i don`t know if other clutches for other mg/rover models are the same) Do any of you guys have a source for a replacement clutch for this model.
many thanks
Pauli

I'm switching to an AP racing clutch in the next few weeks when my engine is out.
But to answer your question, the MGF Trophy clutch is the same as the other MGF models, the MGTF 135 or 160, the 1.8 MGZR or rover 25, the 1.8 MGZS or Rover 45 or any of the K-series engined Lotus Elises or Caterhams.
You certainly shouldn't have any problems getting hold of one.
Try some of these MGF/TF specialists:-

Ok Pauli,
Depending on where you live - there's also Sussex Classics located in Partridge Green, just off the A24 North of Worthing, run by Greg, who specialises in MG parts for all models.

Hope this is also of use
