Ok a quick and easy question this time...
My Windscreen and chrome is showing its age a bit, lovely brown rust and tarnish.
Does anyone have any recommendations for some really powerful cleaning agents to get the stuff off from my alloy and chrome?
Also... Im presuming the windscreen frame is quite easy to take off completely? need to replace the rubber seal as its gone manky. (its a midget 1973)

Cleaning agent id try WD40 first does wonders and it will help protect the chrome afterwards.
The chrome strip around the windscreen might not be available anymore, you will have to check with someone like MechSpec. I seem to remeber that they had stopped production a few years back. As for the rubber that should still be available. Just take your time to get the screen back in.
