It's a 2001 trophy blue saloon, fsh, 30k. I got it for £4150. It needed new tyres and pads, 370 quid all told. So total cost, 4520 quid.

What a complete bargain. It might be dated inside, but the seats are supportive, the engine willing and the chassis just excellent, and there's no electronic traction control or other aids sapping power when you don't want them to.

I am very pleased with my purchase.

Depressing how they've devalued especially since MGR went under. I've had mine for almost a year now, was a 02 with 14k, hatchback. Paid 8k for it which was about right at the time. Really happy with the car though
