This is a bit of a long shot . A friend has asked me to help as im his goto petrolhead and i had a B many years ago . A mutual friend died last and left his MGB to his son . It is stored in the widows garage . The son who is not very hands on has tried to use it a couple of times but it keeps breaking down . A local garage has had the car in for a couple of weeks and charged for repair but the car broke down again next trip out . It seems to me they need a specialist or at least a garage with staff equipped to look at a classic . Can anyone help with a recommendation . The car is near Wellingborough Northants and is not running . Thanks Dale

Hi, probably the best route is to ask on the local Facebook page for recommendations. There must be classic car owners in the Wellingborough area who use little known garages that cater for classics. Luckily the MGB is usually simple to fix, and parts are readily available and cheap!
Out of interest, what was the repair?
