New roof panel MGB GT

I keep looking at GTs for sale on the various forums / websites. I have seen numerous wonderful looking cars, carefully photographed to hide the fact they have a hideous 80s glass sunroof.

BMH make all the panels to make a complete new shell so wondered how feasible it would be to fit a new roof panel? I expect glass out, lots of spot welds to drill out, bond / weld the new one in and paint plus a new head lining!

I’ve seen it done on a 964 on youtube to omit the OEM sunroof. Panel was over 1k (Ammo car detailers black 911)
