I will be taking ownership of a fully refurbished 1975 MGB GT which will have an implanted rover 4.0l V8. The car is being prepared by CCHL and will be ready in the spring. Anyone any experience of running a B GT V8

Welcome to this relatively quiet section Brian, I'm sure you will have a great time with your BGT V8. The engine is not highly stressed and very torquey so a nice relaxed cruiser if that is what you want....however it will go very well when you want some more fun!....Enjoy.

Hi, yes. I’m looking forward to receiving the car in the spring. I talked to a guy from a company called V8 tuner. He talked me out of the 4.6 and suggested the compromise of the 4.0l hopefully as you have said it will cover the cruising and a bit of fun when necessary
