where & when will the unsold MGs be up for sale?
Discussion
I have heard and read tales of huge stockyards of unsold Rovers and MGs across the country... literally 10s of thousands of brand new motors sat idle...
apparently, there is still some confusion as to ownership and how best to dispose of them.
Anyone know the real story behind this, and whether or not the market is soon to be flooded with loads of cut price MGs?

The unsold cars are owned by Capital bank, so won't hit the market until they release them. I suspect they are waiting to hear from PWC as to the outcome of the bids to buy MGR. As for a flood of cheap MGR's, don't hold your breath. A few have already been relaesed for action, but the majority will be sold by a small number of MGR dealers. The only one I am aware of ATM that will be selling them is Phoenix of Coventry.
ATM most dealers are selling cars for only marginally less pre-collapse prices, as demand for MGR's has actually increased since the collapse.
