MG TF 135, 2005 deposit paid.
Discussion
Hi folks, I've been out earlier this afternoon and test drove a lovely 2005 TF 135. 22,6k miles.. so deposit is now paid.
I need to get 4 new tyres for the car so may I ask for recommendations for tyre sizes and types please?
Will be a summer car but I'd prefer not to be terrified if it rains..lol 😁

Toyo Proxies, are recommend and very good. I can't remember the sizes but they will be in the handbook. I need to get 4 new tyres for the car so may I ask for recommendations for tyre sizes and types please?

The most important thing is to ensure you have the high load sidewalls on the rear. These little mid engine cars can generate quite a lot of lateral load at the rear which can lead to the tyres flexing and reducing their contact patch - hence snap oversteer. The MG, MR2 and Elise are all pretty tyre sensitive, especially to this.
